MARGO GOLD, MARINE PLYWOOD (IS 710: 2010)
Margo- Gold Marine plywood as the name suggests is rich marine grade plywood is manufactured from durable face and best core veneers, so it performs longer in both humid and wet conditions. Each wood veneer will have negligible core gap, limiting the chance of trapping water in the plywood, hence providing a solid and stable glue bond. It uses an exterior Water and Boil Proof (WBP) glue.
Unlike most woods, it will resist the bending, warping, or delaminating which can often result from too much moisture. This increases the durability and structural strength of Marine Plywood making it a good choice for marine construction.
It resists delaminating and fungal attack. Its construction is such that it can be used in environments where it has prolonged exposure to moisture.
It is unaffected by moderate acidic and alkaline conditions within normal atmospheric temperature ranges.
CORE VALUE OF MARINE PLYWOOD
- Borer and Termite proof with unique GLP formula
- Resistance to Microbial decay
- Resists delaminating
- Dimensional stability under varying environmental conditions
- Power bond technology used (Cross Linked Polymer Bond)
- Exceptional screw and nail holding strength
Marine plywood is specially treated plywood that is designed to resist rotting in a high-moisture environment thus performs well in prolonged humid condition.
Marine plywood is most reliable to be used in the construction of docks, ships, boats and other marine vessels. It is also used in bathroom and kitchen walls and sub-flooring, door/ window panels, luggage racks, false ceilings, bus body building.
